The program offers its students a great opportunity to gain a valid grounding in U.S. law, common law, along with legal English and communication skills, in an academic environment enriched by an outstanding faculty and detailed attention to students.
The program is a tuition-paying program.
In addition to Luiss tuition fees, students participating in this program also pay tuition fees to the University of Richmond with a 50% discount, hence the final tuition payable to the University of Richmond for Luiss students, for the 2020-2021 academic year, is $22,400 TBC.

Admission
Who can apply
Students enrolled in the fourth year of the single-cycle Master's degree program in Law can apply to this program. According to their major, students can apply for:
- an LL.M. in International Business: open to students majoring in Diritto Civile, Diritto ed Economia delle Imprese, Diritto Internazionale, Diritto Societario e Tributario;
- an LL.M. in Intellectual Property: open to students majoring in Diritto ed Economia delle Imprese.

How to apply
The call for applications is published on December 9, 2019 and applications can be submitted until January 31, 2020. Candidates are required to submit the following:
- Application form
- English language certificate
- ID card/passport
- Motivation letter
- Passport size photo in JPG Format
- Curriculum vitae / résumé
Pre-Requirements
Eligible students can apply if they comply with the following requirements:
- have passed and registered at least a total of 180 credits;
- hold a weighted average grade equal to or above 27/30;
- hold an international English language certificate accepted by Richmond: TOEFL iBT equal or above 100, IELTS equal or above 7.0.
Luiss will select a short list of candidates based on a non-disputable evaluation of the academic profile and the motivation of the student. An Academic Commission nominated by the Dean of the Department of Law will select students on the basis of a non-disputable evaluation. An interview will be carried out by a member/members of the Academic Commission and by the International Development Office. The selection results will be communicated by e-mail to the applicants by February 24, 2020 TBC.
