Double Degree in International Business with Paris Dauphine

The Double Degree in International Business with Paris-Dauphine University is a challenging two-year program taught in English and French, aimed at students currently enrolled in their first year of the Master's program in Management, major in International Management, and students enrolled in the final year of the Bachelor’s program - or graduates, who intend to enroll in the Luiss Master’s program in Management, major in International Management.

After completing the program, students receive a Master’s degree in Management issued by Luiss University and a Master of International Business Management and NCT Projects issued by Paris-Dauphine University.

The Double Degree program in International Business with Paris Dauphine offers students the opportunity to develop a general knowledge on new technologies and issues related to digitalization, applying specialized studies in these fields into the real work environment, including also cross-functional project abilities. Located in the city of Paris, the renowned University of Paris Dauphine is focused on management and decision-making studies. The academic approach combines work and study and allows students to benefit from a study trip to Shanghai. The program is structured as follows:

  • the first year is carried out at Luiss (Rome);
  • the second year is carried out at Paris-Dauphine (Paris).

Luiss students will be registered at Luiss during their time at Paris-Dauphine and will continue to pay tuition fees at Luiss. Students will be exempted from paying tuition fees at Paris-Dauphine.

If compliant with both universities’ rules and conditions, as for credits envisaged, attendance, deadlines, academic integrity, etc., participating students will receive two degrees, which will be issued according to each university’s procedures.

Who can apply

Students enrolled in the first year of the Luiss Master’s program in Management, major in International Management, can apply to this program. Bachelor's Degree students interested in enrolling in the first year of the Luiss Master’s program in Management, major in International Management, will have the opportunity to apply for this program during the second semester of the 2018-2019 academic year.

Admission

Details regarding the application procedure, the selection process, deadlines, and further information, will be contained in the call for applications. In case of doubts about the documents to upload or to get further information about the requested documents, students are invited to contact the International Development Office before the application deadline.

Students who are selected for a Double Degree program have to respect the relevant study plan. They need to accept all the changes listed in the study plan, especially with reference to the languages and other activities.

Requirements

Candidates for this program should have the following requirements:

  • Weighted average grade equal to or above 25/30;
  • Credits: at least 136 ECTS by the application deadline;
  • at least 3 months of professional experience before the call closing date, and at least 6 months of professional experience before July 2021;
  • A B2 level in French language, to be obtained by July 2021, certified by the University or an International certificate.

As for English, students must possess at least a B2.3 level (European Framework of Reference), to be proved by one of the following certifications:

  • TOEFL iBT certificate, equal or above 65;
  • IELTS certificate, equal or above 5.5;
  • Cambridge: FCE min. grade C;
  • Accademia linguistica Trinity School di Roma;
  • Luiss University Language Center;
  • International Secondary School Diploma;
  • Bachelor’s Degree totally taught in English (obtained or ongoing).
