In occasione dell’ottava edizione del Luiss Career Day for Social Impact Organizations del 20 febbraio 2020 gli studenti avranno la possibilità di partecipare ad attività di team building, in collaborazione con il corpo della Guardia di Finanza e l’Associazione Volontari di Protezione Civile “Roma Aurelio”.
Queste attività sono state inserite all’interno del Career Day for Social Impact Organizations per incentivare gli studenti a migliorare le skills richieste nel mercato lavorativo, come il team-building, team-working, time management e problem-solving.
Per l’intero arco della giornata, gli studenti avranno la possibilità di partecipare alla gara di kayak simulato. Attraverso il pagaiergometro, uno strumento che simula il movimento del canoista fuori dall’acqua, gli studenti potranno competere e le migliori performance riceveranno un ricordo omaggio. L’attività sarà coordinata dalla Guardia di Finanza e dalla loro squadra sportiva.
Con i volontari della Protezione Civile, gli studenti, divisi in due slot da 15 persone, si eserciteranno nell’allestimento della tenda pneumatica 7x7 tipicamente utilizzata dalla Protezione Civile in situazioni di emergenza. L’Organizzazione di Volontariato provvederà a fornire un supporto totale ai partecipanti per l’allestimento nello spazio esterno antistante i locali della manifestazione.
Il programma di massima sarà così strutturato:
- breve introduzione sull’argomento e principali norme di sicurezza;
- pulizia dell’area di stazionamento;
- montaggio;
- smontaggio;
In aggiunta, i volontari della Protezione Civile illustreranno nei dettagli il Modulo Antincendio Boschivo (AIB) montato su pick-up 4x4, integrato con una motopompa idraulica a pressione che diffonde attraverso due naspi circa 450 litri di acqua.
Per incendi boschivi si intendono tutti quegli incendi che si sviluppano in boschi, foreste, campi, pascoli e in generale nelle aree con diversi alberi o cespugli. Le cause degli incendi boschivi sono disparate e a seconda della dislocazione hanno origini differenti ma difficilmente ascrivibili a fenomeni spontanei.
La Protezione Civile è fortemente coinvolta nell’opera di contrasto di questi gravi fenomeni e per questo motivo equipaggia i propri volontari con mezzi idonei e con dispositivi di protezione individuale sempre più versatili e sicuri.
Il programma di massima sarà così strutturato:
- breve introduzione sull’argomento e principali norme di sicurezza;
- descrizione del DPI, dispositivo di protezione individuale;
- descrizione delle attrezzature di supporto;
- cenni sui rischi quando si affronta un incendio boschivo;
- ruoli e compiti del volontario.
Nel corso della presentazione, sotto il controllo dei volontari AIB, sarà possibile imbracciare ed utilizzare il naspo.
Le attività saranno aperte a tutti gli studenti Luiss di ogni Dipartimento e Corso di Laurea.

Team Building Activities - Luiss Career Day for Social Impact Organizations
On the occasion of the 8th edition of the Career Day for Social Impact Organizations, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., students will have the opportunity to participate in team-building activities, in collaboration with the Guardia di Finanza and the Associazione Volontari di Protezione Civile “Roma Aurelio”.
These activities have been included within the Career Day for Social Impact Organizations to encourage students to improve the skills required in the labor market, such as team-building, team-working, time management and problem-solving.
For the whole day, students will have the opportunity to participate in the simulated kayak race. Through the paddleboard, a tool that simulates the movement of the rower out of the water, students will be able to compete and have the chance to win a gift. The activity will be coordinated by the Finance Guard and their sports team.
With the Protezione Civile volunteers, the students, divided into two slots of 15 people, will practice in the preparation of the pneumatic tent 7x7 typically used by the Protezione Civile in emergency situations. The volunteers will provide total support to participants for the setting up in the outdoor space in front of the premises of the event.
The activity will be structured as follows:
- a brief introduction on the subject and main safety standards;
- cleaning of the parking area;
- assembly of the tent;
- disassembly of the tent;
In addition, the Protezione Civile volunteers will illustrate in detail the Forest Fire Module (AIB) mounted on 4x4 pickups, integrated with a hydraulic pressure pump that spreads through two noses about 450 liters of water.
Forest fires are all those fires that develop in forests, forests, fields, pastures and generally in areas with different trees or bushes. The causes of forest fires are disparate and depending on the location have different origins but hardly attributable to spontaneous phenomena.
The Protezione Civile is strongly involved in the work of contrast of these serious phenomena and for this reason, equips its volunteers with suitable means and with personal protective devices more and more versatile and safe.
The indicative program will be structured as follows:
- a brief introduction on the subject and main safety standards;
- description of PPE, personal protective equipment;
- description of support equipment;
- warnings about risks when dealing with a forest fire;
- roles and tasks of the volunteers
During the presentation, under the control of AIB volunteers, it will be possible to pick up and use the ribbon.
The activities will be open to all students luiss of each Department and Degree Course.

Participation in the competition of simulated kayaks is free and does not require registration.
