Candidatures are now open for the intra-university "Philippe de Woot Award" which was set up to promote Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility and by awarding, every two years, one or several Master thesis(es) which constitute(s) an original contribution to the understanding and thinking about CSR.
The “Philippe de Woot Award” is for any student graduated from a University or Business School at Master level over the world and whose Master thesis is about corporate social responsibility or the contribution of companies/organizations to sustainable development. Candidates must have completed their thesis during their academic year in 2015-2016 or in 2016-2017.
The award-winner will receive a prize of € 3.000 - €1.500 will be directly given to the student and the remaining €1.500 will be offered to an environmental or a social project to be chosen by the student.
The award ceremony will be organized at UCL, in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) in March, 2018. To ensure the recognition of this Prize and a large diffusion of CSR, the awarding ceremony will take place at the time of a conference animated by reputed speakers from different backgrounds on the theme of CSR. In addition, communication in the media and international networks will be ensured.
The deadline to address candidatures is set for October 1st, 2017.
