Following the signing of the agreement between International IDEA (Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance) and LUISS, students will be given the chance to perform an internship at the International IDEA headquarters in Stockholm. Furthermore, in the following months opportunities will be available in other offices of the organization throughout the world (Brussels, The Hague, Addis Ababa, Tunisi, San José, Lima, La Paz, Quito, Port-au-Prince, Canberra, Kathmandu, Yangon).

International IDEA is an intergovernmental organization who advocates democracy and development through the support of free and transparent elections, political participation and representation, especially in those countries where democracy is often at stake: International IDEA has offices in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. The scope of International IDEA's action is of such relevance that the organization has been granted the status of Permanent Observer to the United Nations.
