Eurocities, the network of major European cities, is looking for an editor/copywriter for their Brussels offices.
Description:
- salary range between €2,400 to €2,600 according to experience

The editor/copywriter will support EUROCITIES written communications and publications, working closely with the projects team. The main tasks include:
- provide proofreading and editorial services for print and online
- collaborate on the production of EUROCITIES monthly electronic newsletters
- support the production of project publications
- map and plan production schedules
- give general support to EUROCITIES communications activities
Requirements:
- skilled editor and writer with proven track record
- perfect English, French an asset
- eye for design and layout
- problem-solving approach
- able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- organised & accurate, able to meet deadlines
- understanding of EU decision making processes and the work of local government desirable
- understanding of the smart cities and climate change agendas an advantage
- knowledge of InDesign an asset
- around three years of relevant work experience
- experience in producing print publications
