Internship in Sales
TransPerfect's internship provides a clear understanding of the organizational structure and industry. Interns should come out of this experience having learned about working in a corporate office, have improved communication skills, understand the translation services industry, how the organization functions in the industry, understand TransPerfect/Translations.com and how all of the departments interact.
The intern will look to be trained to perform different tasks in different categories during their program here, these tasks, however, will be supervised by the department manager or someone assigned by the manager. These can be:
Sales
- Researching techniques – how to get client leads
- Sourcing clients
- Calling general departments/shopping competition
- Conferences and trade show exposure
- Attend at least one sales meeting
- Administrative duties
The intern will get a thorough understanding of different departments as well as the organization as a whole.
