Vacancies available for young Italian nationals: Electronic Arts will train 34 participants as future Localization Testers - Call for participants in the 3nd EA Campus

Fundación Universidad-Empresa is calling for applications for the third EA Campus, to be held in Madrid from April 21st to May 22nd 2014. 34 participants will be trained as future Localization Testers. There are vacacies available for young Italian nationals.

A Localization Tester is responsible for quality assurance in any text (oral or written) displayed in a videogame. An LT is responsible for proofreading, and revision
of third party name conventions, video-audio synchronization, dubbing, spelling and grammar, and correct contextualization.

This initiative is promoted by Electronic Arts, the leading multinational company in entertainment software, Fundación Universidad-Empresa and Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.

EA CAMPUS is targeted at young people over 18 years of age, interested in new technologies and the video game industry, and fluent in English. In order to
enter EA CAMPUS candidates must have at least a high-school degree and be mother tongue in any of the following: Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German,
Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Portuguese and Brazilian nationals), Russian, Spanish (Spanish and Mexican nationals), Swedish.

Other relevant aspects considered in the recruitment process are: linguistic skills and knowledge; previous experience in international environments (education,
internships, jobs…); analytic skills and troubleshooting; communication skills; attention to detail; independent user of common software/hardware; teamwork.

Recruited candidates will be granted an aid of € 450 gross for the five-week training period. They will follow an in-company training programme focused on EA
products and business, completed by specific training in professional skills.
Upon completion of the programme, which will be completely delivered in English, participants will receive a continuous education certificate awarded by Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. Candidates with the best performance may be considered for future job vacancies at Electronic Arts. 

EA Campus training will be carried out at the EA Spain office in Madrid from April 21st to May 22nd 2014, Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 6 pm. 

Interested candidates must register at www.fue.es/eacampus  before  March 28th 2014.
