The Luiss University accommodation office is available to help incoming students in their search for housing during their participation in Erasmus or other exchange programs.
We propose two solutions:
Luiss University residences
Luiss University offers you the possibility to spend your exchange period at one of our residences:
Remember that we have limited availabilities which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
To confirm a reservation, students must pay one month's rent as a security deposit.
Cancellation policy:
In case of refusal after the payment of the security deposit, no reimbursement is available and the deposit is kept by Luiss University.
In case of breaching the contract after the arrival and before the end of the stay, besides losing the security deposit, the student must pay also 20% of the remaining installments.
Private apartments
For students that prefer private apartments, our free private housing service CasaLUISS offers different options based on preferences indicated on in the housing application form. The apartments are chosen among previously selected private owners and will be rented out with clear conditions and a regular contract.
The accommodations offered are on average 20 minutes or less from LUISS headquarters using public transportation.

The above-mentioned prices do not include utilities like electricity, water, gas, telephone, heating (based on actual consumption) and condominio (common apartment block expenses). Prices are subject to variation depending upon the area in which the accommodation is situated: in order to be within walking distance of a Luiss campus, the indicated price increases by approximately 30%.
As soon as the submissions are processed, applicants will receive e-mails with customized proposals in accordance with the preferences expressed in the housing application form and an example of the contract in English (which will have to be signed in the Italian-language version, as requested by law).
In order to confirm a reservation, students must:
- send a confirmation by e-mail to casaluiss@luiss.it within three days of receiving the offer
- pay one month's rent as a security deposit for contracts up to six months and two months' rent as a security deposit for longer contracts within four days of receiving a CasaLUISS housing proposal. Students must send a copy of the bank transfer by e-mail to casaluiss@luiss.it by the deadline.
International students are required to have a fiscal code issued by the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate) to register the contract. It must be obtained after arrival.
Cancellation policy:
In case of breach of contract after arrival and before its end date, the student will not be reimbursed and the deposit will be withheld as a penalty (except for the presence of causes that prevent the use of the apartment).
