The second edition of the LUISS Brussels Days, organized by the Career Services Office, will be held in the days November 9-10, 2017 in Brussels - Avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée 1, hosted by Confindustria Delegation to the EU.

This international career expo will allow LUISS students and young graduates to find out about professional opportunities in Brussels, to meet with representatives of the European Institutions, International Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations and International firms operating in Belgium, and to exchange ideas regarding their professional goals. The aim of this programme is to promote the aspiration to live and to work at the heart of Europe.

The first day a model of the European Parliament will be carried out: During the meeting, participants will roleplay the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) in order to debate different topics on the European agenda. Young MEPs will meet in parliamentary groups to find a solution to the issues proposed, through the drafting of a legislative act.

The second day will be dedicated to an interactive job fair and to roundtables with representatives of Brussels-based firms and organizations. During the job fair, participants will have the chance to have individual formal meetings with the representatives, to introduce themselves and to develop a better understanding of the activities and opportunities offered. In the afternoon, LUISS students and graduates will meet different actors of the Brussels job market in informal roundtables, with the possibility to receive insights and suggestions about developing a career in the EU context. The primary purpose of the event will be to gain an understanding of career opportunities for graduates.

Moreover, an event will be organized together with the Brussels Chapter of the LUISS Alumni Association. In this occasion participants will be able to network with recent and established graduates working in Europe.

Please note that the event is reserved to LUISS students and recent graduates, including LUISS Schools. Due to the limited amount of space that exists for this program, meeting the eligibility criteria will not guarantee admission into the program.
